Obituary of William James Perrin

Mr. William James Perrin, 71, of 217 E. Central Ave. Titusville (Central Towers) died Thursday, April 22, 2010 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. Mr. Perrin was born on Nov. 4, 1938 at Woodhaven, NY, a son of the late Harry and Myrtle Magee Perrin. He was formerly married to Kathleen Sweeney. Mr. Perrin was a veteran having served in the US Army. He entered the service on April 19, 1960 at New York, NY and was honorably discharged on March 31, 1966. Mr. Perrin had most recently been employed by his family in the restaurant business. He enjoyed fishing and reading. He is survived by his former wife, Kathleen Perrin of Rocky Grove; a daughter, Tracy Gates and her husband Scott of Oil City; a son, Thomas Perrin of Mesa, AZ; four grandchildren, Shauna Perrin of Ireland, and Josh, Megan, and Emily Gates, all of Oil City; a brother, Thomas Perrin and his wife Catherine of Brooklyn, NY; and a niece, Christine Perrin of Brooklyn, NY. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Perrin. No public calling hours will be observed. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. The Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
