Obituary of John O. Eisenhuth
Mr. John O. “Odie” Eisenhuth, Jr., 72, of W. Elm St., Titusville passed away Sunday afternoon November 29, 2015, at St. Vincent Health Center in Erie.
Mr. Eisenhuth was born on March 21, 1943, in Knox to the late John O. Sr., and Leatha Eisenhuth. He married Shirley Peterson on June 29, 1963, in Titusville.
He attended Titusville area schools and was a veteran of the US Army.
Mr. Eisenhuth was employed for 30 years with Nation Fuel. During those years he also worked part time at Lawson’s, Bryan’s True Value Hardware, Northwest Busing, as a Titusville Auxiliary Policeman and city dog catcher. He most recently has been driving the CATA bus for Titusville.
He enjoyed the outdoors hunting and fishing, going to the casinos with his wife, playing scratch off lottery tickets, and watching the races. He loved a fast car, but especially loved spending time with his family.
John is survived by his wife Shirley Eisenhuth of Titusville; 3 daughters, Denise Swartz and husband Kevin of Seneca, Tina Aitken and husband Christopher, Wendi Steinbuhler and companion Kalobe Miller both of Titusville; 7 grandchildren, Courtney Weaver of Greensburg, Tyler Swartz of Seneca, Miranda Allen of Corry, Ronnie Allen, Zach Steinbuhler, Alex Steinbuhler, Taj Miller all of Titusville; a half-brother of FL; and a half-sister of CA.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Glenn Eisenhuth.
Friends may attend a memorial service on Wednesday at 2:00 PM from the Church of Christ with Pastor Jim Moore, officiating.
