Obituary of Dianna L. Tillotson

Mrs. Dianna L. Tillotson, 61, of 35933 Lake Shore Dr., (Canadohta Lake) Union City went peacefully at home at 9:37 AM on Sunday, November 14, 2010 after 5 years of brain cancer. Mrs. Tillotson was born on March 20, 1949 in Tryonville to the late Harry E. and Grace C. Werling Lewis. She married Dale S. Tillotson on November 16, 1968 in Riceville. She was a graduate of Townville High School, class of 1967. Mrs. Tillotson was formerly employed as the attendance secretary for 24 years at the Union City elementary school. She retired in 2007. She was a past President and member of the Independent Order of Foresters, a member of the Bloomfield Vol. Fire Dept. Ladies Aux., and an avid golfer. She loved being with her family especially her two grandsons and spending the winters in Titusville, FL. Mrs. Tillotson is survived by her husband of Canadohta Lake; a daughter, Denise Richards and husband, Ken, of Mercerville, NJ; two grandsons, Benjamin and William Richards; three brothers, Harry “Kenny” Lewis of Wilmington, NC, Robert K. Lewis and wife, Judy, of Centerville, Daniel E. Lewis of Centerville; four sisters, Marjorie C. Wolfe of Titusville, Joyce M. Thoms and husband, Vincent, of Colorado Springs, CO, Judith A. Volkstadt and husband, Robert, of Titusville, Ronda S. Bunce and husband, Philip, of Troy Center; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Darrell Tillotson. Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home 303 N. Washington St., Titusville on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM and attend the funeral service from the funeral home on Wednesday at 2:00 PM with Rev. Mark Rusnak, Chaplain for the Asera Care Hospice in Erie, officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Union City.
