Obituary of Gerald L. McCalmont

Gerald L. McCalmont, 61, of 509 N. Petroleum St. Titusville, passed away Saturday morning January 2, 2016 at the Titusville Area Hospital. Gerald was born on March 19, 1954 in Titusville, a son of the late Welden and Pauline Hicks McCalmont. He was a graduate of Titusville High School, class of 1973. Gerald was a member of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church. He enjoyed music, walking, talking to people, and playing video games. He was an avid Cowboys and Eagles fan. He is survived by two brothers, Mark McCalmont and Samuel McCalmont, both of Titusville; three sisters, Rosemary Snyder and husband Gary, Debra Foote and husband Rodney, and Kathryn Radabaugh and husband Steve, all of Titusville; numerous nieces and nephews; a great nephew and a great niece; and several cousins, aunts and uncles. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother, Terry Steven McCalmont. Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home 303 N. Washington St. Titusville on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM and attend the funeral service there on Wednesday at 11 AM, with Rev. Leroy Learn of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church officiating. Interment will be in Red Oak Cemetery.
