Obituary of Mary H. Wilson
Mrs. Mary H. Wilson, 71, formerly of Pleasantville passed away at 7:50 PM on Monday, January 11, 2016, at the Marquette Hospice House in Meadville. She had been a resident of Wesbury United Methodist Community in Meadville for the past 6 months.
Mrs. Wilson was born on August 17, 1944, in Titusville to the late Richard G. and Nellie L. May Peebles. She married Donald A. Wilson on November 11, 1960, at the Breedtown Baptist Church Parsonage. Mr. Wilson preceded her in death on March 18, 1993.
She was a graduate of Titusville High School.
Mary was formerly employed by GTE Sylvania and retired from Osram Sylvania in Warren on December 31, 2004, after 22 years of service with the company. She was also co-owner of C&M Pizza of Pleasantville with her sister during the late 80’s.
She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, taking family trip, taking care of her dog Tod, and going to Las Vegas.
Mary is survived by her son, Daniel Wilson and wife Victoria of Sharon; her daughter, Brenda Cancilla and husband Joe of Union City; 6 grandchildren, Travis Wilson and wife Michele of Reynolds, Trevor Wilson of Pittsburgh, Ryan Wilson and wife Brittany of Monroeville, Angel Glass and husband Trevor of Michigan, Joseph Cancilla and wife Shelby of Waterford, Miranda Cancilla and fiancé Travis Hicks of Titusville; 5 great grandchildren, MacKenzie Wilson, Trenton Wilson, Sarafina Glass, Trenton Cancilla, Evan Cancilla; a brother, Richard Peebles, Jr. of Titusville; 3 sisters, Carol Kuzmich and husband Ray of Titusville, Sally Shipkosky and husband Charles of Export, Judith Wisniewski and husband Bob of Shawano, WI; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Katherine Taylor and Frances Howe.
Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home 303 N. Washington St., Titusville today (Wednesday) from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM and attend the funeral service from the funeral home on Thursday at 1:00 PM.
Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Cherrytree Twp., Venango Co.
