Obituary of Deana Ralston

Mrs. Deana J. Ralston, 56, of 11283 Ralston Rd., Titusville died at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh. Mrs. Ralston was born on July 19, 1954 at Amarillo, TX to Idell Carpenter Johnson Burnett and the late Lawrence E. Johnson. She married Donald L. Ralston on April 20, 1974 at the Hydetown Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Titusville High School, class of 1972 and earned her LPN degree from the Oil City Hospital School of Nursing. Mrs. Ralston was formerly employed as a private duty nurse, a pulmonary nurse, and most recently worked in the medical records department of the Titusville Area Hospital for 18 years. She was a member of the Hydetown Baptist Church where she was very active in all the church activities, and the Hydetown Women’s Fellowship. Mrs. Ralston enjoyed baking pies for the Hydetown Vol. Fire Department events. She is survived by her husband Donald L. Ralston of Titusville; her mother and step-father, Idell and Paul Burnett of Centerville; three children, Misty Bateman and her husband Jeremy, Jerod Ralston, Erik Ralston and wife Hollie all of Titusville; two granddaughters, Ryley Bateman and Anslee Ralston; two brothers, Dusty Johnson and wife Jane of Titusville, Emil Johnson of Columbus, OH; one sister, Blair Boyd and husband Roger of Centerville; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home today (Friday) from 6 to 8 PM. A memorial service will be conducted from the Hydetown Baptist Church on Saturday at 2:30 with Rev. Vincent Seen pastor of the church and Pastor Samuel Villars of the Lincolnville Baptist Church, officiating.
