Obituary of Lawrence E. Fenstermaker

Mr. Lawrence E. Fenstermaker, 75, of 724 Sporer Rd., Venus died at 3:00 PM on Monday, January 4, 2010 at his residence. Mr. Fenstermaker was born on Feb. 11, 1934 at Breedtown to Harry and Gertrude Johnson Fenstermaker. He married Martha A. Thompson on Feb. 15, 1954 at Fink Ridge. She preceded him in death on July 6, 1994. He attended Titusville Area Schools. Mr. Fenstermaker was previously employed by Struthers Wells and later retired from Colonial Machine as a machinist. He was a talented musician who could play several instruments. He also loved to fish and hunt. Mr. Fenstermaker is survived by four sons, Aaron H. Fenstermaker of Venus, Kevin J. Fenstermaker of Venus, David G. Fenstermaker and wife Jodi of Tionesta, Darrel A. Fenstermaker and wife Angela of Venus; five daughters, Pamela Palm and husband Richard of Oil City, Karen Weiss and husband Al of Ellenton, FL., Laura Hook and husband Steven of Cranberry, Lucinda Eck and husband Joseph of Oil City, Paula Dunkle and companion Michael Klingler of Oil City; one brother, Donald Fenstermaker of Titusville; four sisters, Eleanor Patterson of Union City, Martha Brown, Ethel Doutt and husband Neil, Ellen Fill and husband Richard all of Titusville; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one son, Daniel L. Fenstermaker; four brothers, LeRoy, Hugh, Harry, and William Fenstermaker; and two sisters, Edna Boyer and Gertrude Fenstermaker. A memorial service will be conducted from the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home 303 N. Washington St., Titusville on Saturday at 10:00 AM with Rev. Jerri Walford, pastor of the Pine City United Methodist Church, officiating. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service.
