Obituary of Steven M. Kemp

Mr. Steven Michael Kemp, 26, of 423 11th St. Franklin, died unexpectedly Monday, June 6, 2016 at his residence. Steven was born on September 16, 1989 in Franklin to Leonard M. and Barbara A. Thompson Kemp, Jr. He attended Titusville Area Schools and was a 2008 graduate of Titusville Area High School. Steven worked as a server at Primo Barone’s Restaurant in Franklin, PA. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting, camping, kayaking, hiking, riding his bike, riding motorcycles, Chinese food, Florida and the beach, wolves, Greys anatomy TV show, and his dogs. Steven is survived by his parents Leonard M. & Barbara A. Kemp, Jr. of Titusville; a brother Leonard Kemp, III and companion Nicci Honse of Pleasantville; three sisters, Jennifer Yochum and husband Michael of Titusville, Sara Kemp of Titusville and Lauren Kemp of Titusville; maternal grandparents, Paul E. and Martha J. Thompson of Titusville; five nieces and nephews, MacKenzie and Kylie Yochum of Titusville, Landon M. Kemp of Pleasantville, and Kendra Hart and Zachary Rollick of Pleasantville; his live in family Justin Kinnear and his daughters Breanna and Leila of Franklin; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Leonard M. and Marion H. Kemp, Sr., an Uncle Michael B. Kemp, and a nephew Kaden Kemp-Yochum. Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home 303 N. Washington St. Titusville on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM and attend a funeral there Friday at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at Jerusalem Corners Cemetery.
