Obituary of Harry J. Sellen

Mr. Harry J. Sellen, 68, of 415 School Place, Titusville, died Thursday, July 7, 2016 at 1:45 PM at the Titusville Area Hospital. Harry was born on November 22, 1947 in Titusville to the late William L. and Ethel D. May Sellen. He married Patricia Smith on July 21, 1979 in Hydetown. He attended Townville schools. Harry was employed at several lumber companies including Dallas Lumber and Taylor Ramsey Lumber. He was a member of Cleo J. Ross Post 368 American Legion. Harry enjoyed fishing, watching the Steelers and professional wrestling, and being with friends and family. He is survived by his wife Patricia of Titusville; a daughter Shandon Cross and husband Derrick of Corry; stepdaughter Sylvia Stearns and husband Jeff of Grand Valley, four stepsons, the late Donald Acton II and wife Deborah of Brooksville FL, William Brooks and wife Denise of Corry, Lee Acton of Titusville, and Andy Acton of Meadville ; nine grandchildren, Dillon Cross, Donald Acton III, Jennifer Acton, Jeffrey Stearns, Jocelyn Stearns, Kaylyn Acton, Korianne Acton, Emily Rossman, and Elizabeth Acton; seven great grandchildren; three sisters, Saundra Ricketts of Townville, Vicki Crum and companion Bill Hoffman of Titusville, and Arlene Shorts and husband Richard of Titusville, and sister-in-law Connie Sellen of Titusville; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents Harry was preceded in death by his brother John Sellen, a stepson Donald Acton II; and two sisters, Mary Mott and Patricia Farley. No calling hours will be observed. Friends may attend a memorial service on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the PNA Club of Titusville. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be sent to the funeral home 303 N.
