Obituary of Lowell P. Johnson

Mr. Lowell P. “Bud” Johnson, 66, of Centerville, passed away on Monday, August 8, 2016, at St. Vincent Health Center. Bud was born in Titusville on January 2, 1950, to the late Paul and Florabelle Loomis Johnson. He graduated from Townville High School, Class of 1967. Bud was a veteran of the United States Army. He married the love of his life, Pamela Elizabeth Wheeler, on June 8, 1974 at the First Baptist Church of Titusville. Bud was employed at Cytemp Specialty Steel from 1977 to their closing in 1991. He then worked for the city of Titusville in the Public Works department for twenty years, retiring in 2014. He was a lifetime member of the Bruce Shorts VFW Post 5958. He enjoyed many things in life, but his most favorite was spending time with his family. He was a jack of all trades; he worked on old cars, trucks, doing many projects in his garage, carpentry, and electrician. He enjoyed the outdoors and the wildlife and peacefulness it offers. Bud is survived by his loving wife of forty-two years, Pamela of Centerville; two daughters, Amy Baker and husband Jamie of Titusville, and Ashley Madden and husband Aaron of Centerville; four grandchildren, Avery and Easton Baker, and Aarolynn and Addyson Madden; two sisters, Luana Johnson and husband Frederick Cleland of Centerville, and Debra Wendaur and husband Mark of Frewsburg, NY; three brothers, Bruce Johnson and companion Cindy Jones of Lost Creek, WV, Robert Johnson and wife Joanne of West Middlesex, and Todd Johnson and wife Lila of Centerville; and his mother-in-law, Maxine Wheeler of Titusville.
