Obituary of Ruth M. Graham
Mrs. Ruth M. Graham, 77, of 227 Water St. (Billie Brown Bldg) Titusville died at 3:26 PM on Monday, December 20, 2010 at Hamot Medical Center in Erie.
Mrs. Graham was born on July 25, 1933 in Titusville to the late Leon and Helen Young Southwick. She married Richard M. Graham on Dec. 27, 1972 in Bellevue, FL. Mr. Graham died on August 26, 1999.
She was a graduate of Titusville High School, class of 1952.
Mrs. Graham was previously employed by the Titusville Area Hospital from 1966 to 1998 as a nurses’ aid and then in the food service department.
She was a lifetime member of the Hydetown Baptist Church where she was also active in many of the church groups and functions. She also enjoyed going to concerts in the park and walking. She especially loved being with her grandchildren.
Mrs. Graham is survived by her daughter, Sandra Lea Baldwin and husband Dana of Titusville; three grandchildren, Shane Baldwin and wife Lisa of Elmore, OH, Dawn Eldred and husband Steve of Sanford, FL, Bryan Baldwin and wife Karen of Titusville; step-son, Richard Graham of MO; step-daughter, Katherine Ann Fielner and husband David of Eureka, MO; eight grandchildren, Rachel Eldred, Matthew Eldred, Ian Eldred, Tori Baldwin, Leah Baldwin, Joey Baldwin, Alexa Baldwin, Avery Baldwin; two step-grandchildren, Janice and Chris Fielner of MO; a brother, Gerald Southwick of Titusville; two sisters, Betty Shorts of Troutman, NC, Sally Weidner of Titusville; sister-in-law, Marilyn Southwick of Ormond Beach, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerome and Raymond Southwick; and three sisters, Lois Nicholson, Edna Stokes, and Marjorie Southwick who died in infancy.
Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM and attend the funeral service from the funeral home on Friday at 11:00 AM with Pastor Gary Kinnear of the Breedtown Baptist Church officiating.
Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
