Obituary of Sandra J. Lowros

Sandra J. “Sue” Lowros, 75, of Titusville, passed away Monday, August 15, 2016 at the Golden Living Center in Titusville. Sue was born on October 28, 1940 in Titusville, PA to the late Orra W. Muir and Hazel Seeley Muir Foley. She was previously married Albert Lowros. Sue was a graduate of Titusville High School, class of 1958. She was last employed at Cross Creek Resort. She had owned and operated Diamond Lunch and also Dale’s Dress Shop. Sue had attended the First Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed golfing, fishing, walking, collecting antiques, and photography. She enjoyed taking rides with her close friend Mary Carol Cartney and walks with her special friend Ellen Byrnes. She loved her cats “Mindy” and “Big Mama”. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. Sue is survived by a son, Daniel Lowros and wife Shelly of Titusville; two daughters, Lori Polaski and husband Scott of Johnsonburg, PA, and Kristi Mowrey and husband Eric of Titusville; five grandchildren, Alaina Lowros, Kayla and Ryan Fenton, Marissa Neely and fiancée Tanner Evans, and Kennedy Neely; her former husband, Albert Lowros of Titusville; a sister, Brenda Tarr and husband Tom of Titusville; a favorite uncle, Charles Seeley of Orlando, FLA; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her step-father, Bud “Papa” Foley; and a brother, Bill Muir. The family will receive friends at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home 303 N. Washington St. Titusville on Sunday, August 21st from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at which time a memorial service will be conducted with Mrs. Jacqueline Wagner, officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. The family asks that memorials be made to any local chapter of the Humane Society, or to the YMCA 505 W. Walnut St. Titusville, PA 16354.
