Obituary of Ronald L. McClintock

Ronald L. McClintock, 65, formerly of Dempseytown, passed away Tuesday evening August 30, 2016 at Manor Care in Pittsburgh following and extended illness. Ron was born on December 6, 1950 in Oil City, a son of the late Frank and Hilda Neely McClintock. He was a graduate of Oil City High School. He had been employed with Schwan’s Food Service. Ron was a veteran having served in the US Army. He was a member of the Oil City Moose Club and of the Oil City VFW. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and was a NASCAR and Pittsburgh Steeler’s fan. He is survived by a daughter, Sharon Dunn and husband Jayme of Clarion; three grandchildren, Gavyn, Layton and Avreigh; three brothers, William, Melvin and Charles McClintock, all of Titusville; a sister, Wilma “Jane” Lewis and husband George of Gladstone, MO; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Guy “Kip” McClintock; and two sisters, Margaret Wood and Doris Kellogg. Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home 303 N. Washington St. Titusville on Monday, Sept. 5th from 6 to 8 PM and attend the funeral service on Tuesday at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Rev. James Dietrich, pastor of the Pisgah Presbyterian Church in Corsica, officiating. Interment will be in Lamey Cemetery. The family asks that memorials be made to any chapter of the Humane Society.
