Obituary of Richard E. Wright
Mr. Richard E. Wright, Jr., 64, of 41368 Buells Corners Rd., died Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 3:45 PM at his residence after an extended illness.
Richard was born on November 14, 1951 in Titusville to Richard E. and Grace DePrater Wright, Sr.
He attended Titusville Schools.
Richard was a veteran having served in the US Army.
He worked as a truck driver for both Sparty Wood and Rhoads Trucking, and also working on the family dairy farm.
Richard loved spending time with his family and friends, playing card games, being around his cows, and watching his grandchildren.
He is survived by his parents of Centerville; six children, Arron Hogue and wife Tina of Pleasantville, Heidi Castle and husband Randy of Sharpsburg, MD, Ryan Lesh and husband Ben of Centerville, Amanda Loney and husband Jerry of Pleasantville, Ray Wright of Centerville, and Roy Wright of Titusville; eight grandchildren, Christopher Parker of Saegertown, Easton Hogue and wife Rachel of Fort Sill, OK, Brittany Hogue, of Pleasantville, Raven Sutton, Elliot Lesh of Centerville, Kadan Loney, Konar Loney, and Kaylee Loney of Pleasantville; seven brothers and sisters, Barbara Sterling and husband Duane of Centerville, Bob Wright and wife Sandy of Centerville, Ronald Wright and wife Brenda of Centerville, Bev Mokwa and husband Lynn of Sweet Valley, PA, Russ Wright and wife Kim of Centerville, Brenda Glass and companion Ernie of Warren, OH, and Randy Wright and wife Wendy of Centerville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Richard was preceded in death by an infant son Richard Wright III; and a sister in law Lil Wright.
Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home Inc. 303 N. Washington St. on Wednesday from 2 to 4 PM at which time a funeral service will be conducted with Pastor Lynn Mokwa, officiating.
Interment will be at Sunnyside Cemetery.
