Obituary of Frederick W. Brady
Mr. Frederick W. Brady, Sr., 86, of Neilltown, passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at Southwoods Assisted Living Community in Titusville.
Frederick was born in Titusville, on March 18, 1930 to the late Cleo D. and Bulah J. Barnett Brady.
He had attended Endeavor school.
He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served overseas during the Korean Conflict.
Frederick married Elva V. Coulter on November 1, 1952 in Titusville.
He worked for the former Cytemp Specialty Steel Corp. in the finishing department for thirty-nine years, retiring in 1992.
He enjoyed woodworking, hunting, fishing, and was also a trustee of the Neiltown Cemetery. He attended the Pleasantville First United Methodist Church.
Frederick is survived by his loving wife of sixty-three years, Elva of Southwoods Assisted Living Community; a daughter, Tonia Hetrick and husband Clinton of Tionesta; two sons, Steven Brady and wife Kim of Pleasantville, and Craig Brady and wife Paula of Butler; a daughter-in-law, Vicky Brady of Neiltown; a sister, Catherine Baker of Oil City; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Frederick Brady Jr. and Kevin Brady; and two brothers, Robert and Herman Brady.
Friends and family may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home, 303 N. Washington Street, Titusville, PA 16354 on Friday, September 23 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. The funeral service will be held there on Saturday at 11 AM.
Interment will be in Neilltown Cemetery, with full military rights observed.
