Obituary of Mark William Callen
Mr. Mark William Callen, 52, of E. Spruce St., Titusville passed away at 9:30 PM on Wednesday, September 28, 2016, at the Titusville Area Hospital.
Mark was born on September 26, 1964, in Titusville to Wanita Carner Callen and the late William Callen.
He was a graduate of Maplewood High School, class of 1983.
Mark was formerly employed by Homer Wood and Taylor Ramsey. He was last employed by Weyerhaeuser for 8 years.
He was a former member of the PNA.
Mark loved animals, being outdoors fishing and hunting, going to antique car shows, listening to 70’s music, helping family and friends and playing practical jokes.
He is survived by his mother, Wanita Callen of Titusville; 9 brother and sisters, Roxie Lara and husband Esteban of Plano, TX, Marion “Lennie” Callen of Titusville, Carol Kilgore of Titusville, Norma Jean Phillips and husband Nolan of Hydetown, Steven Callen of St. Mary’s, Lois Roggenkamp and companion Bobby Caldwell, Nancy Shorts and husband Michael, Donna Callen, and Daryl Callen all of Titusville; numerous nieces, nephews, and wonderful friends.
Mark was preceded in death by his father, William Callen; a brother, Roger Callen who died in infancy; and his cocker spaniel, Rags.
Friends may call at the Hennes-Garrett Funeral Home 203 E. Main St., Titusville on Sunday from 2 to 4 PM with the service to follow conducted by Rev. Joseph Martin, officiating.
Interment will be in Kerr Hill Cemetery.
