Obituary of Marian E. Head
Marian E. Head, 84, of Titusville, who was residing at Paramount Senior Living in Cranberry Township, passed away, Sunday morning, October 9, 2016.
Mrs. Head was born Marian Edith Graff, on June 21, 1932, in Titusville, a daughter of the late Carl and Mildred Graff.
She was a graduate of Titusville High School.
She was married to Richard C. Head on July 7, 1951, at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Titusville.
She was a devoted wife to her husband for fifty nine years, and a loving mother and grandmother.
Marian was a member of First Presbyterian Church and a former member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ. She enjoyed bible study and various church activities.
Marian dedicated herself to caring for her family and serving her church communities. She always had a ready smile and hearty laugh. She carried an extra special place in her heart for her granddaughters and enjoyed spending time with them.
Marian is survived by; two sons, Richard C. Head and companion Joanne Fucci of Titusville, and Mark A. Head and wife Mary Beth of Cranberry Township; three grandchildren, Ashley, Lauren, and Allison; and two brothers Carl Graff Jr. of Titusville and James Graff of Galion, Ohio.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Richard, and a sister, Mavis Hamm.
Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home, 303 N. Washington Street, Titusville, PA 16354, on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 from 12 to 2 PM, with a funeral service following immediately with Mrs. Jacqueline Wagner officiating.
Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery.
