Obituary of Sandra L. “Sandy” Nichols

Mrs. Sandra L. “Sandy” (Kline) Nichols, 51, of 36000 State Hwy 408 Centerville died on Tuesday, February 9, 2010 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Mrs. Nichols was born on January 2, 1958 at Titusville to the late Fred A. Kline and Marjorie Emick Kline Dingle. She attended Titusville Area Schools. Sandy was currently employed as a housekeeper at the Comfort Inn and prior to that worked as a cook at the University of Pittsburgh at Titusville for 10 years. She was a social member of the PNA and Cleo J. Ross Post 368 American Legion. Sandy loved spending time with her family especially her three daughters and five grandchildren. She also enjoyed working on the farm, hiking, camping and canning. She is survived by her three daughters, Billie Jo McGarvie and companion Rob Kirch of Pleasantville, Tedra McGarvie and fiancé Burt Sutton of Hydetown, Starine McGarvie and companion Shawn Marty of Utica; five grandchildren, Matthew Peterson, Trevor McGarvie, Tyra McGarvie, Dezerea Frederick, Skylar Kirch; her companion Jim Sutton of Centerville; first husband, Bill McGarvie of Pleasantville, her second husband, Allen Nichols of Pleasantville; a step-son Shawn Nichols and fiancé Charity Hunt of Pleasantville; step-daughter, Sara Nichols of Pleasantville; one brother, Fred A. Kline and wife Pam of Oil City; two sisters, Debbie Nadolny and husband Rodney of Titusville, Wendy Horn and husband Walter of Pleasantville; one step-brother, Robert Dingle and wife Darlene of Titusville; one step-sister, Paulette Tarr and husband Ralph of Dade City, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews. Sandy was preceded in death by her step-father, John Dingle. Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home 303 N. Washington St., Titusville on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM and attend the funeral service from the funeral home on Saturday at 11:00 AM with Rev.
