Obituary of Terry L. Wescoat

Terry L. Wescoat, 54, of 4409 Gorman Road Grand Valley, passed away at his home Saturday morning October 29, 2016 after a three year battle with cancer. Terry was born on March 30, 1962 in Titusville, a son of Carl L. Wescoat and the late Wilda Metzgar Wescoat. He was a graduate of Titusville High School, class of 1980. Terry had been employed for the past 35 years at Commercial Fluid Power Company, formerly Keystone Honing, in Titusville. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved going fishing with his dad, hunting with his brother Keith, and doing woodworking with his brother-in-law, Emery. Terry is survived by his father, Carl L. Wescoat of Grand Valley; two sons, Seth Wescoat and girlfriend Hannah Childs, and Mitchell Wescoat, all of Titusville; a grandson, Caleb Marvin of Centerville; three brothers, Randy Wescoat and wife Tammi of Grand Valley, Keith Wescoat and wife Missy of Grand Valley, and Kevin Wescoat and wife Rachelle of Pittsfield; a sister, Julie Ellis and husband Eddie of Pantego, NC; his ex-wife, who was also his best friend, Robin Wescoat-Van and her husband Dale of Titusville; his in-laws, Iola and Harry Gustafson, Norma and Larry Manross, Terri and Emery Fiely, and Jon Bierce, all of Titusville, and Kathy and Jeff Hubbard of Hermitage; as well as many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and cousins. He is also survived by his Commercial Fluid family; Diane, Dave, Leonard, Charlie and Rob, and all the others he had worked with over the years; special friends, Rob Dittman, Bill Deeter, Rick Schneider, Dale Mallory, and Donna Clendenin. He was preceded in death by his mother, Wilda Wescoat; a nephew, Michael Wescoat; a niece, Katherine Wescoat; and his mother-in-law, Nancy Bierce. As per Terry’s wishes, no funeral service will be conducted. Family and friends may attend a memorial gathering on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 3:00 PM at Missy’s Arcade Restaurant. The family asks that memorial donations be made to Hospice of Crawford County 406 W. Oak St. Titusville, PA 16354.
