Obituary of Joyce Radmore

Mrs. Joyce Radmore, 67, of Titusville, passed away peacefully Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at the Meadville Medical Center after a brave and dignified battle against cancer. She was born November 17, 1948 at Oil City Hospital to the late Lawrence and Nellie Cornmesser Shreffler. She was a 1966 graduate of Townville High School. Joyce was a retiree of the Titusville Area Hospital, where she worked over 30 years in the emergency room as a registration clerk. On April 5th, 1968 she married Richard Radmore in Niagara Falls, NY, who survives. She enjoyed quilting, craft shows, and being a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. In addition to her husband of 48 years, she is survived by two sons, Duane Radmore and wife Janis of Frisco, TX, and Mark Radmore and wife Susan of Lancaster PA; four grandchildren, Reghan, Logan, Kaleb, and Jack; three brothers, Rodney Shreffler and wife Judy of Franklin, Allen Shreffler and wife Reina of Syracuse, NY, and Terry Shreffler and wife Carolyn of Chapmanville; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a very special niece, Megan Antonio of Las Vegas, NV. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Gary Shreffler. Friends and family may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home, 303 N. Washington Street, Titusville, PA 16354 on Sunday, November 6, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. The funeral will be held on Monday, November 7, 2016 at 11 AM at the Chapmanville Community Church, 1043 Le Boeuf Trail Rd., Titusville, PA 16354, with Rev. Glen VanCise officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Titusville. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Joyce’s memory to the Yolando G. Barco Oncology Institute, 16792 Conneaut Lake Rd., Meadville, PA 16335, as a thank you for the excellent care they provided Joyce with in her battle against cancer.
