Obituary of M. Patricia More

Mrs. M. Patricia More, 93, of Centerville, passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at the Titusville Area Hospital with family by her side. Patricia was born in Unidilla, NY on April 5, 1923 to the late Alexander and Mary Mahoney Horony. She graduated from Colestock High School, class of 1940. Patricia married Wyllys C. “Bill” More on November 16, 1946 in Titusville at the Presbyterian manse. They had just celebrated their platinum 70th wedding anniversary together. She retired from The House of Edinboro in 1983. Patricia was a member of the Centerville United Methodist Church and was active with the women of the church. She enjoyed golfing, outdoor activities, and tending to her flower gardens. She was a talented seamtress, and enjoyed knitting and needle work. Patricia is survived by her husband of seventy years, Wyllys of Centerville; four children, Patricia Koeneke and husband Steven of Denver, CO, Michael More and wife Carol of Asheville, NC, Wyllys C. More, Jr. and wife Kelly of Monroeville, PA, and Timothy More and wife Virginia of Centerville; six grandchildren, Michael More and wife Stacy, Amanda More, William Erdman, Jacqueline Lott and husband Brice, Jeffrey Koeneke and fiancé Lisa, and Rachael Belletti and husband Adam; five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Gertrude Vanderhoff; and three brothers, Michael, James, and John Horony. Friends and family may attend a memorial service at the Centerville United Methodist Church, 18679 Erie St., Centerville, PA 16404 on Sunday, November 20, 2016 at 2 PM with Pastor Jim Cannistraci officiating. The family will hold a celebration of life at a later date as well. Inurnment will be in Sunnyside Cemetery, Centerville. Memorial contributions can be made to the Centerville United Methodist Church, 18679 Erie St., Centerville, PA 16404.
