Obituary of Judith M. Bodamer

Judith M. “Judy” Bodamer, 80, passed away on Friday, December 16, 2016 at 7:05 PM at Oakwood Heights nursing home in Oil City. Judy was born on September 29, 1936 in Oil City to the late James E. and Vera L. Condon Vogan. She married Paul J. “P.J.” Bodamer on October 9, 1981 in Chicago, IL. He preceded her in death on October 4, 2010. She was a graduate of Titusville High School, class of 1953. Judy worked as a legal secretary in Cleveland Ohio. She was a member of the Cleo J. Ross American Legion Post 368 Auxiliary, a social member of the PNA, B.P.O.E. Elks Lodge 264, and Loom Ladies of the Moose 64. Judy enjoyed walking, gardening, reading, doing crossword puzzles, and being with friends and family. She is survived by her son Mark D. Bodamer of Spokane, WA; three grandchildren, Janie, Isaac, and Hannah Bodamer of Spokane, WA; a sister Linda Sutton of Titusville; and several nieces and nephews. Judy was preceded in death by a brother James E. Vogan, Jr.; and two sisters, Beverly Allen and Mary Margaret Hancock. Family will receive friends from 10 to 11 AM on Friday, December 23rd with a memorial service to follow at the Hennes-Garrett Funeral Home 203 E. Main St., Titusville, PA 16354.
