Obituary of Rosemary R. Waychoff

Mrs. Rosemary R. Waychoff, 82, of Neilltown Rd., Pleasantville left this world peacefully at home with her family by her side at 12:15 AM on Sunday, January 01, 2017. Mrs. Waychoff was born on January 31, 1934, in Titusville to the late Herman and Ethel Dunn Roessner. She married Ronald F. Waychoff on May 23, 1953, at St. Titus Church. Mr. Waychoff preceded her in death on October 14, 2013. She was a graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy in 1952. Rosemary was formerly employed by Struthers Wells Corp., WTIV and last worked for Colonial Machine in Pleasantville from 1967 until her retirement in 1982. She was a member of St. Titus Church and the Bruce Shorts Post 5958 Auxiliary. Rosemary loved spending time with her grandchildren and family, playing bingo and working around the house. She is survived by 4 sons, Michael D. Waychoff of Pleasantville, Patrick H. Waychoff and wife Terri of Colorado Springs, CO, Alan A. “Gus” Waychoff and companion Ann Paden of Pleasantville, James S. Waychoff and wife Ann of Titusville; 11 grandchildren, KristinWaychoff of Linden, NJ, Matthew Waychoff and wife Kayla of Gibsonia, Kristian Waychoff and wife Madelyn of VA, David Waychoff and wife Michelle of Colorado Springs, CO, Katey Waychoff of Colorado Springs, CO, Kara Waychoff, Thomas Waychoff and wife Andreanna of Columbus, OH, Megan Green and husband Tim of Titusville, Patrick Diamond and wife Jessica of Butler, Andrea Diamond of Franklin, Josh Waychoff of Pittsburgh; 17 great grandchildren; her niece and caregiver, Kim Vandervort of Pleasantville; numerous nieces and nephews. Rosemary was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Robert, Paul, James and John Roessner; 3 sisters, Louise Roessner, Marie Biddleman, Jeanne Thomas; and a daughter-in-law, Denise E. Waychoff. No calling hours will be observed. A graveside service will be celebrated for family and friends on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 11:00 AM from the chapel at St. Catharine’s Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Crawford County 406 W. Oak St., Titusville, PA 16354.
