Gene Homan Schlosser, 82, was called to heaven to be with his beloved wife, Jean, on Friday, February 17, 2017. He passed peacefully at the Marquette Hospice House in Meadville, PA, surrounded by family, living his remaining two months to its fullest in the face of a terminal Leukemia diagnosis.
Gene was born on July 26, 1934 to Ralph Schlosser and Gladys (Tracy) Schlosser in Titusville, PA.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Sallaway Schlosser and his brother-in-law, John (Bill) Sallaway.

Gene was most proud of his family. He adored his wife Jean and three children, Steven, Thomas and Amy. He also enjoyed attending various sporting and performing art events of his grandchildren. He enjoyed crossword puzzles, playing bridge, mowing his lawn, and golf. He was an avid hunter and immensely enjoyed his two trips to Montana to hunt elk.
