Obituary of Elaine Watkins

Mrs. Elaine P. “Patty” Watkins, 77, of May Ave., Titusville passed away at 2:20 AM on Friday, March 24, 2017, at the Titusville Health Care and Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Watkins was born on February 13, 1940, in Erie to the late Bernard and Cecelia Kujawski Krasnesky. She married Carl LeRoy Watkins on October 13, 1962 at St. Boniface in Erie. Mr. Watkins preceded her in death on March 12, 2002. She was a graduate of Wattsburg High School, class of 1959. Elaine was a member of St. Titus Church. She enjoyed playing bingo and working on puzzles. She loved raising her family watching her sons wrestle, play baseball and football and attending her daughter’s swim meets. Elaine is survived by 6 children, Theresa Rabogliatti and husband Neal of Bethel Park, Michael Watkins and wife Regina of Titusville, Kenneth Watkins and wife Donna of Union City, Mark Watkins of Titusville, Joseph Watkins and wife Amy of Titusville, Charles Watkins and wife Tina of Pleasantville; 8 grandchildren, Elizabeth Watkins, Hudson Watkins, Brady Watkins, Catherine Watkins, Michael Watkins, Liam Watkins, Chloe Watkins and Bryce Watkins; 2 sisters, Adelaide Rogers of Erie, Elizabeth “Betty” Twaroski and husband Frank of Erie; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Bernard Krasnesky, Jr.; and 3 sisters, Dorothy Elaine Krasnesky, Eleanor Robasky, and Catherine Lackovic. Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home 303 N. Washington St., Titusville, PA 16354 on Sunday, March 26, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Titus Church on Monday, March 27, 2017 at 10 AM with Fr. Walter E. Packard, as celebrant. Interment will be in St. Catharines Cemetery.
