Obituary of Harry K. Bush
Mr. Harry K. Bush, 62, of 109 Caldwell St., Titusville died at 9:17 PM on Thursday, January 20, 2011 at his residence.
Mr. Bush was born on February 16, 1948 in Oil City to Emma Kunnselman Bush and the late Kenneth Bush.
He attended Youngsville area schools.
Mr. Bush served in the U.S. Marine Corp. from 1969 to 1971.
He was employed as a machine operator with Snap-Tite Corporation in Union City for 35 years. He retired in May of 2010.
Mr. Bush was a member of the LeBaron Post 237 American Legion in Union City and the Bruce Shorts Post 5958 VFW in Titusville.
He was an avid bowler and belonged to several different leagues in Corry for the past 10 years. He also enjoyed snowmobiling, riding 4-wheelers, camping and restoring automobiles.
Mr. Bush is survived by his mother Emma Bush a resident at Wesbury United Methodist Community in Meadville; his wife Karen (Brown) Bush of Titusville; four children, Wilbur Bush and companion Laura Peterson of Union City, Kris Brown and companion Terri Everet of Titusville, Kathy Bush and companion Baron Waycoff of Titusville, Shawn Bush of Titusville; seven grandchildren, Crystal Peterson of Wattsburg, Heather Peterson of Union City, Brittany and Brook Proctor of KS, Aaron Brown of OH, Jasmine and Bethany Moore of Titusville, one great granddaughter, Sylvia Peterson of Wattsburg; three sisters, Evelyn Crick and husband Al of Jamestown, NY, Bonnie Bush of Titusville, Debbie Christner and husband Adam of NY; three brothers, John Bush and wife Patti of Centerville, Harve Bush of Titusville, Van Bush and companion Lisa Campbell of Pleasantville; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father; a brother, Wilbur Bush; and a grandson, Brandon Moore.
Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home 303 N. Washington St., Titusville on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM and attend the funeral service from the funeral home on Tuesday at 11:00 AM with Pastor Richard LaRocque of the Pleasantville Independent Baptist Church, officiating.
