Obituary of Dolores A. Holmes

Mrs. Dolores A. Holmes, 84, a resident of Oakwood Heights in Oil City passed away at 8:40 AM on Saturday, April 08, 2017. Mrs. Holmes was born on April 1, 1933, in Malone, NY to the late Stephen and Eleanor Boyer Duquette. She married James L. Holmes on August 16, 1969, in Queens, NY. Mr. Holmes preceded her in death on May 31, 2003. Dolores attended the Batavia School for the Blind in Batavia, NY. She graduated from there in 1954. Mrs. Holmes had a passion for music and played for many occasions for people singing gospel songs. She is survived by her son, James A. Holmes and wife Annette of Titusville. Dolores was preceded in death by 3 sisters. No calling hours or service will be observed.
