Obituary of Vicki S. Crum

Vicki S. Crum, 64, of Titusville, passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2017 at her residence, after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Titusville on January 27, 1953, to the late William and Ethel May Sellen. Vicki married Mr. Russell Crum on July 17, 1971. He preceded her in death in November, 2000. She babysat and worked as an aid on the transportation vans, which she enjoyed the passengers dearly. Vicki enjoyed dancing, playing pool, throwing horse shoes, playing cards, going to the beach with her kids, cooking for her family, Sunday dinners with the family, shopping, and Spring time was her favorite time of year. She is survived by her companion, Bill Hoffman of Titusville; four daughters, Amy Proper and husband Carl, Fay Thieme and husband Randy, Cindy Spear and husband Jon, and Carol Schweitzer and husband Jason all of Titusville; four step-sons, Dennis Crum and wife Kelly of Saegertown, David Crum and wife Robin of Venango, Tim Crum and wife Mary, and Jerry Crum both of Saegertown; Michelle Savitz of Grand Valley, who she considered a daughter; seventeen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; two sisters, Saundra Ricketts and Arlene Shorts and husband Richard both of Townville; and several nieces and nephews. Vicki was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Harry Sellen; and two sisters, Mary Mott and Patricia Farley. Friends and family may attend a memorial service on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 11 AM at the Chapmanville Community Church, 1043 Le Boeuf Trail Rd, Titusville, PA 16354, officiated by Rev. Glen VanCise. An additional memorial service will be held afterwards from 1 to 3 PM at the Titusville Polish National Alliance Club, 134 E. Central Ave., Titusville, PA 16354. Inurnment will be in Kingsley Cemetery, Townville. Memorial contributions can be made to the Yolanda G Barco Oncology Institute, 16792 Conneaut Lake Rd, Meadville, PA 16335.
