Obituary of Patricia F. O’Neill Beers
Mrs. Patricia F. O’Neill Beers, 76, of Titusville, passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Allegheny General Hospital.
She was born in Corry on November 5, 1940 to the late Gerald and Ethel Range Hunt.
Patricia graduated from Titusville High School, class of 1958. She attended University of Pittsburgh at Titusville, majoring in Psychology.
She married Mr. Regis “Pat” O’Neill, Jr. on October 29, 1956 at St. Titus Church. He preceded her in death on September 16, 1987.
Patricia later married Mr. Harold J. Beers on July 3, 2004 at Oakland United Methodist Church.
She was employed at Robinson Wall Coverings as a buyer, GTE in the office, Cytemp Specialty Steel as a secretary, and most recently at BSI in Titusville.
Patricia was a member of St. Titus Church, and attended Oakland United Methodist Church.
She enjoyed farming, gardening, tending to her flower beds, canning jams, vegetables, and fruit, cooking, knitting, quilting, playing cards, traveling, spending time with her family, and loved to clean.
Patricia is survived by her husband, Harold J. Beers of Titusville; five children, Gerald O’Neill and wife Kathy, Jenny Kurschinske, Carrie Fox, Donald O’Neill and wife Brenda, and Michael O’Neill and wife Sherry all of Titusville; two step-children, Scott Beers and wife Grace and Jason Beers and wife Sukhui both of Oil City; nine grandchildren, Kim Lemon of Wexford, Jayme Walsh and husband Pat, Bryon Kurschinske, both of Titusville, Ashley Fox and fiance Andrew Billings of Oil City, DeNeal Fox of Titusville, Ryan O’Neill and fiancé Nikki Fitzgerald of Fryburg, Jessica Lorenz and husband Joseph, Jeremy O’Neill and companion Brianna Wood, and Amanda O’Neill and companion Luke Turner, all of Titusville; eleven step-grandchildren, James, John, Matthew, Micah, and Faith Beers all of Oil City, Gabriel and Jarod Beers of Belgrade, MO, David Graham, Debbie Goodwin and husband Logan both of Kalispell, MO, Katelin Webb and husband Patrick of Helena, MO, and Nathan Beers of Bozeman, MO; fourteen great grandchildren, Braden, Cooper, Jonas, Devon, Parker, Emma, Sophia, Aubre, Jayden, Kiara, Talon, Tenly, Aurora Rose, and Franklin; sister, Connie Ray and husband Kenneth of Virginia Beach; brother, Scott Hunt of Titusville; several nieces and nephews; and a dear friend, Doneva Hyde and husband Ken of Hydetown.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Hunt; two son in laws, Neal Fox and David Kurschinske; a nephew, Brian Ray; and Regis and Virginia O’Neill, Sr.
Friends and family may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home, 303 N. Washington Street, Titusville, PA 16354, on Friday, April 14, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. The funeral service will be held there on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at 11 AM with Rev. Dr. Edward P. Saxman, of Oakland First United Methodist Church, officiating.
Interment will be in St. Catharines Cemetery.
