Obituary of Beatrice E. King

Miss Beatrice Ellen King, 49, of Guys Mills, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 16, 2017 from a vehicle accident. She was born in Huntington, PA on August 25, 1967 to Glen and Julia Ann Peachey King. Beatrice attended Belleville Mennonite School through grade five, and Beth-El Christian Day School in Belleville grades six through twelve. She was the Kitchen Supervisor at Faith Builders Educational Programs in Guys Mills for twenty-one years. Beatrice was a member of the Shalom Mennonite Church in Cochranton. She enjoyed scrapbooking, bird watching, reading, traveling, gardening, and spending time with friends. Beatrice touched many lives by her Godly example, good cheer, and friendly humor. Beatrice is survived by her mother, Julia Ann King of Belleville; two sisters, Regina King of York and Julia King of Belleville; five brothers, Wesley King and wife Alice of Belleville, Eugene King and wife Lois of Keezletown, VA, Rodger King and wife Ella Ruth of Beavertown, Bruce King and wife Beverly of Dayton, VA, and Stanley King and wife Julie of Belleville; twenty-one nieces and nephews; two great nieces and one great nephew; and many, many friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Glen E. King on July 5, 1975. Friends and family may call at the Plainview Gospel Fellowship, 29386 Guys Mills Road, Guys Mills, PA 16327, on Thursday, April 20, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. Calling hours and funeral service are also being held at the Locust Grove Mennonite Church, 3358 W. Main St., Belleville, PA 17004, on Friday, April 21, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM, and Saturday, April 22, 2017 from 9:30 to 10:30 AM, at which time the funeral service will be held, ministered by Anthony Gingerich, Milo Zehr, Tim Stoltzfus, and Wilbur Graybill. Interment will be in Allensville Mennonite Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Faith Builders Educational Programs, 28527 Guys Mills Rd., Guys Mills, PA 16327.
