Obituary of Donald M. Sines

Mr. Donald M. Sines, 72, of 393 Dunham Rd., Pleasantville died at 3:35 PM on Friday, March 19, 2010, at the Golden LivingCenter in Titusville. Mr. Sines was born on November 6, 1937, in Titusville to the late John and Jessie Shrout Sines. He attended Titusville area schools and served in the US Army from 1956 to 1958. Mr. Sines was self-employed as a painter for many years. He was a member of the Pleasantville Community Church. Mr. Sines enjoyed the outdoors hunting and fishing, especially Steelhead fishing. He is survived by his wife Helen Kope Sines of Pleasantville; three step-sons, Daryl Nester of Pleasantville, Van Nester of Green Cove Springs, FL, Monte Nester and wife Lauri of Grand Valley; his granddaughter, who Don and Helen raised, Ashley Caldwell Fox and her husband Ben of Tucson, AZ; seven grandchildren, Van Nester and wife Casey of Green Cove Springs, FL, Nicholas Caldwell, Sheila Caldwell, Jennifer Oakes of Titusville, Nash Nester, Alexandrea Nester of Grand Valley, Arriona Brown of Titusville; three great-grandchildren, Hannah Nester, Marla Fox and Allyson Winans; one brother, John Sines and wife Genevieve of Titusville. Mr. Sines was preceded in death by his step-daughter, Marla Caldwell; three brothers, Clyde, Clifford and Dale Sines; and two sisters, Edna Bishop and Betty Armstrong. Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Funeral services will be conducted from the Pleasantville Community Church on Wednesday at 11:00 AM with Rev. James Nelson, officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Pleasantville. FLOWERS
