Obituary of Charles Russell Myers

Mr. Charles Russell Myers, 76, formerly of Titusville, died Thursday, April 22, 2010 at the Crawford County Care Center following an extended illness. Mr. Myers was born on March 14, 1934, a son of the late James and Marian Myers. He had been employed at Taylor Ramsey Corp. in Titusville for 19 years until his retirement due to disability. Mr. Myers enjoyed hunting, fishing, taking walks and spending time in the outdoors. He is survived by his fiancée Mary Ann Smith of Titusville; four sons, James Smith of Titusville, John Myers, Jeffrey Myers and Joseph Myers; a daughter, Beatrice Elizabeth Myers; four step-children, John Smith of Titusville, Shirley Moreno of California, Linda Green of Wilmington, VT, and Kathy Williams of Titusville; numerous grandchildren; a brother, Forest Myers of Titusville; two sisters, Lila Ross of Florida and Arbula Stewart of Meadville; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Myers and two sisters. Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home on Sunday from 7 to 9 PM.
