Obituary of Floretta A. Nye

Mrs. Floretta A. Nye, 87, passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at the Meadville Medical Center. Floretta was born on November 15, 1929 in Ellwood City, to the late Harold and Edna Brophy Majors. She was a member of the St Agatha Catholic Church in Ellwood City. Floretta worked as a private healthcare giver for several residents in Florida. She liked playing bingo, keeping a clean household, and being with her grandkids and family. Floretta is survived by her three sons Jerrold Miller and wife Donna of Titusville, Thomas Morgan, Jr. of Maryland, Patrick Morgan and wife Diane of Industry, PA, and Michael Morgan of Florida; six grandchildren; a sister Linnea Duff of Ellwood City; a God Daughter Susan Majors Thellman of Ellwood City; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four husbands Raymond Miller, Thomas Morgan Victor Nye, and Kenneth Brown; a step son, David Nye; two brothers, Duane and Regis Majors; and a sister Beverly Majors Grahman.
