Obituary of Grace Darlene Yauger

Mrs. Grace Darlene Yauger, 79, formerly of Cooperstown, passed away on May 8, 2017 at Meadville Medical Center.

               She was born in Frankfort, IN on January 24, 1938 to the late Jack and Ruth Anderson Bassett.

               Darlene graduated from high school in Colorado Springs, CO.

               She married Rev. Jacob K. Yauger on August 29, 1989 in Watertown, SD.  He preceded her in death on August 2, 2005.

               Darlene was a member of the Evangelical Wesleyan Church in Cooperstown.

               She enjoyed supporting missions, attending church and camp meeting.  She liked to read and work with flowers.

               Darlene is survived by five step-children, David Yauger and wife Nanette of Titusville, Deborah Mays of Cooperstown, Rebecca Goodrich and husband Alan of Osceola, PA, Timothy Yauger and wife Angela of Cooperstown, and James Yauger and wife Buskorn of Evans City; seventeen step-grandchildren; a sister, Donna Ulrich of Salida, CO; and three nieces, Donna Barnes of TX, Sandy Caskey of TX, and Carol Smallwood of IN.

               She was preceded in death by two sisters, Barbara and Esther.

               Friends and family may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home, 303 N. Washington St., Titusville, PA 16354, on Thursday, May 11, 2017 from 1 to 2 PM, at which time the funeral service will be held with Bishop W. L. Sarber and Rev. Timothy Yauger officiating.

               Interment will be in Black Ash Cemetery.
