Obituary of Patricia A. Langworthy

Mrs. Patricia A. Langworthy, 91, of Titusville passed away at 8:15 PM on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at the Titusville Healthcare and Rehabilitation.

Mrs. Langworthy was born on March 1, 1926, in Titusville to the late Arthur W. and Eileen Robbins Carlson, Sr.

She was a graduate of Colestock High School, class of 1944. Shortly after graduation she went to work for the FBI in Washington DC during World War II. She returned home and went to work for the Titusville Area Hospital in the Dietary Dept., later with Heist Furniture, and retired from Queen Cutlery in 1988.

Mrs. Langworthy was a life member of the Emanuel Lutheran Church and served on the Altar Guild of the church.         

She was an avid reader and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Mrs. Langworthy is survived by 3 sons, David Langworthy of Titusville, Jeff Langworthy and wife Gail of Titusville, Judd Langworthy and wife Marlene of Rainier, OR; 6 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; a sister, Ruth Slater and husband John of Pawtucket, RI; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Arthur W. Carlson, Jr., Gordon H. “Gus” Carlson, Sr., Wallace G. Carlson; and 2 sisters, Barbara Quinn and Gwendolyn Slater.

No calling hours will be observed. A private memorial service will be conducted for the family at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
