Obituary of Helen J Vandervort

Mrs. Helen J. Vandervort, 86, of Titusville, passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at the Oil City Health Care and Rehabilitation Center.

               She was born in Titusville on November 19, 1930, to the late Howard and Murial Millard Burrows.

               Helen graduated from Colestock High School, class of 1949.

               She married Mr. Paul J. Vandervort on June 16, 1949 in Ripley, NY. He preceded her death on September 6, 1989.

               Helen enjoyed flowers, gardening, and walking her dog, Toby.

               She is survived by five children, Craig A. Vandervort and wife Debbie of Corry, Scott “Joe” Vandervort and wife Tanya of Titusville, Paula Vandervort, Linda Tilford, and Mark Vandervort;  grandchildren, Amanda Campbell, Andrea Alcorn, Allie Vandervort, and McKenna Vandervort; great grandchildren, Caitlyn and Brady Campbell; and two very special friends, Becky and Mary.

               No public services will be observed.

               Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
