Lester B. Strawbridge

Condolences
Dear Strawbridge Family,
I am sorry that I was unable to attend the viewing last evening, but I want to extend our sincere sympathy for the loss of Lester. He was one of a kind--always friendly and helpful. I often would see him on his walks down town and remember him at the fire department and the funeral home.
You are in our thoughts and prayers. Lester is now a new saint in Heaven.
Sincere sympathy, Jim Murphy and Karen Murphy Gardiner
Dear Strawbridge family,
My sympathies to you. Lester was a wonderful man and some of the best memories of my childhood include your family. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
Love,
Rita
My condolences go out to the entire family of Lester. I work at Titusville Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center as a LPN and it was a total honor and joy to take of Lester. He was and is one of the sweetest gentlemen I have ever cared for. My heart lies heavy that he is gone, but I know he is in a much better place and no longer suffering. I would have attended the viewing Thursday evening, however I want to remember dear Lester the way he was each and every time I went to work: Happy, having fun and smiling. There wasn't one day go by even when he wasn't feeling himself that he didn't think of others and make us smile and feel good about ourselves and the job we were doing for him. I didn't look at it as a job, it was a pure honest pleasure to care for this man. He will be one of the favorites in my life. His family will be in my prayers over the next several days, weeks, months, while they are grieving their loss for such a great man. I will miss him dearly.

To the Strawbridge family, our sincere condolences.
Men simply don't come any better than Lester. I know how much my parents thought of him, and respected him. He and Mrs. Strawbridge were wonderful examples of the good folks of a community. God speed, Lester, you will be greatly missed.
Mark
Your family has always been very special to me and my family! My heart goes out to each of you at this time. I have so many great memories of times spent together in your lovely home. I know that miles separate us, so I cannot be there at this time, but please know you are truly in my thoughts and prayers. May your family feel the love from all of your friends that you so kindly shared with us over the years. I love you all, Mary & Lou (Den) Locke & Family
I'm so sorry to hear of your loss, thinking of your family so much, he was a lovely man and you were so lucky to have him! Francie Bowers & Norma Markovich
My condolences to Eleanor and the rest of Lester's family. I was lucky enough to live next door to Lester and Eleanor for most of my childhood and teenage years. You could not have found two nicer people in the entire world. I remember one Easter when Lester and Eleanor decorated our backyard with a sign and Easter eggs for me and my sister. When my folks moved away from Titusville, Lester and Eleanor were kind enough to take our dog Pepsi into their home for the rest of Pepsi's life. The Titusville community was fortunate to have Lester as one of its citizens, and I am happy to have known such a kind, giving person. Rest In Peace Lester.
