Obituary of Jennifer Susan Entwistle

Mrs. Jennifer S. Entwistle, 57, of Centerville, passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2017, at her home.

               She was born in Meadville on August 24, 1959 to the late Donald L. “Yondy” and Barbara J. King Bossard.

               Jennifer graduated from Maplewood High School, class of 1977. She then obtained an Associate’s degree in biblical studies from Dayton Bible College.

               She married Mark Entwistle on July 1, 1978 at the Diamond United Methodist Church.

               She was a member of the Chapmanville Community Church.

               Jennifer's work and life revolved around her family and community. She was a devoted, precious wife; an exceptional mother; a fiercely loyal daughter; an insightful and humor-filled sister; and an invested, nurturing friend. She was the perfect Nana.

Jennifer found refuge, strength, and vigor in the life-giving words of the Bible. She cared deeply for and listened intently to people who needed an inclined ear. Her hands were constantly busy with the expression of love through acts of service.

Jennifer will be missed and her passing mourned, but her life and active love has planted seeds in our hearts, yielding a rich harvest that will be celebrated for the duration          

Jennifer is survived by her husband of thirty-eight years, Mark of Centerville; four children, Rebekah Flanders and husband Steven of Hermitage, PA, Ryan Entwistle and wife Ruth of Seabrook, NH, Sean Entwistle and wife Emily of Pittsburgh, PA, and Matthew Entwistle of Centerville; five grandchildren, Kylie, Liana, Sophia, Caitlin, and Rachel; four siblings, Thomas Bossard and wife Katie of Adrian, MI, Jackie Stewart and husband Scott of Centerville, Kelly Bossard and wife Denise of Gaithersburg, MD, and Stephen Keyes of Evansville, IN; and step-mother, Hazel Bossard of Centerville.

               She was preceded in death by a brother, Timothy Bossard.

               Friends and family may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home, 303 N. Washington Street, Titusville, PA 16354 on Monday, June 12, 2017 from 6 to 8 PM.  The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at 11 AM at Chapmanville Community Church, 1043 Le Boeuf Trail Rd., Titusville, PA 16354 with Rev. Glen VanCise officiating.

                A private interment will be at Troy Center Cemetery.
