Obituary of Bertha M Moore

Mrs. Bertha M. Moore, 69, of 45609 Burgeson Rd., Titusville passed away at noon on July 19, 2017, at her residence.

            Mrs. Moore was born on August 27, 1947, in West Hickory to the late Guy and Ellen Brown Hunter. She married Irvin R. Moore, Sr. on October 9, 1963.

            She attended Tidioute and West Hickory area schools.

            Bertha was previously employed by Fishers’ Big Wheel, Save-A-Lot and Wal-Mart.

            She was a member of the Cleo J. Ross Post 368 American Legion Aux. and the Moose Club.

            Bertha enjoyed painting with water colors, making jewelry, crocheting, knitting, quilting, playing bingo, Texas Hold-em and going to the casinos.

            She is survived by her husband Irvin R. Moore, Sr. of Titusville; a daughter, Tina Marie Moore of Washington, PA; a son, Irvin R. Moore, Jr. and wife Tracy of NC; a grandson, Barry Evans of Washington, PA; a sister, Cheryl Steele of Titusville; a great granddaughter, Ryleigh Jane Evans; 3 step-grandchildren, Tommy, Brittany and Kasie; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

            Bertha was preceded in death by a grandson, Kenneth Evans; and 2 sisters, Edith Zuck and Judith Metzgar.

            No calling hours or services will be observed.
