Obituary of Margaret "Maggie" L. VanCise

               Mrs. Margaret L. “Maggie” VanCise, 80, formerly of Townville, passed away at 5:30 PM on Sunday, July 23, 2017at Wesbury United Methodist Retirement Community.

               She was born on February 23, 1937 in Springboro to the late Glenn and Geraldine Lamb Webster and was raised in Townville. She married Raymond “Bud” VanCise on October 9, 1971. He preceded her in death on December 22, 2002.

               Maggie attended Townville Schools. She worked at Rex Carpenter Packaging House and Eager Beaver Lumber Yard for 31 years. For 18 years she worked at Walmart, transferring from Meadville to Florida during the winter months.

               She enjoyed cooking, baking, and took much pride in her lawn and flowers.

               Maggie is survived by her daughter Marilyn “Joyce” Eaton and husband Norm of Guys Mills; three grandchildren, Justin Howell and wife Jenn, Lauren Johnson and husband Bill, and Darrin Eaton; three great grandchildren, Meagan and Allison Howell, and Julia Johnson; a brother Meridth Webster and wife Maren; a sister Marilyn Frantz and companion Ray Mattocks; and several nieces and nephews.

               She was preceded in death by an infant son, three brothers, and four sisters.

               Family and friends may attend a graveside service at Kingsley Cemetery in Townville on Tuesday (Today) July 25, 2017at 1:00 PM, with Pastor Sam Marchetta, Chaplin at Wesbury United Methodist Retirement Community, officiating.
