Obituary of Ruth E. Ruot

Mrs. Ruth E. Ruot, 95, of Titusville passed away at 9:37 AM on Saturday, September 09, 2017, at her home that she had made with her daughter for the past five years.

            Mrs. Ruot was born on November 7, 1921, in Titusville to the late Bert and Ethel Green Clark. She married Joseph H. Ruot on September 10, 1943, in Titusville. Mr. Ruot preceded her in death on June 3, 2010.

            She attended the Titusville Wesleyan Methodist Church.   

            Mrs. Ruot enjoyed her flowers, gardening, and spending time with her family.

            She is survived by her five children, Linda Peterson of Titusville, Terry Ruot and wife Charlene of Titusville, Donna Fyock of Titusville, Judy Saragian of Titusville, Rebekah Carpenter and husband Karl of Hagerstown, MD; 9 grandchildren, Steven Peterson of Titusville, Sheri Gordon and husband Roger of Titusville, Jason Saragian and wife Amy of Medina, OH, Kevin Saragian and wife Dana of Franklin, Stephen Fyock of FL, David Fyock of Clintonville, Mary Fyock of Titusville, Susan Mallory of Titusville, Barak Carpenter and wife Erin of WVA; 11 great grand-children, 17 great-great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Rita Homer of Titusville and numerous nieces and nephews.

            Mrs. Ruot was preceded in death by 4 brothers, James Clark, Merl Clark, Robert Clark, Harold “Whitey” Clark; 4 sisters, Helen Niedbala, Vivian Deemer, Beatrice Vereen and Thelma Acel.

            No public calling hours will be observed.

            Private family services are being conducted by the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home 303 N. Washington St., Titusville, PA 16354, with Rev. Robert Luther, officiating.

            She will be laid to rest next to her husband in Jerusalem Corners Cemetery, Pleasantville.
