Obituary of Ardell O. Jones

Mrs. Ardell O. Jones, 77, of Titusville, passed away on Friday, October 6, 2017, at 9:02 AM at the Titusville Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

               Mrs. Jones was born on April 6, 1940, to the late Elaine L. Kerr Moore and Lester M. Reid.

               She attended Titusville Schools and worked for several families as a housekeeper and also worked for the Bashline Hospital.

               Ardell was a member of the Full Gospel Church in Pleasantville where she served on the ministerial board.

               She was well known for her beautiful singing voice, her pie baking skills, and crocheting many baby items. Ardell loved animals, flowers and babies, especially her great grandchildren.

               She is survived by her four grandsons, Bruce E. Frost and Randall W. Frost of Titusville, David Frost and wife Melinda of Dubois, and Zachary Jones and wife Mary of Titusville; three great granddaughters, Keara, Jayln, and Abigail; two great grandsons, Oliver and Charles William; a sister, Linda Radecki and husband Ronald of Titusville; and a sister in law, Grace Showers and husband Robert.

               Ardell was preceded in death by a daughter Vicki Sue Frost, a son Stacy William Jones, and her former husband, Leal E. Jones.

               Family and friends will be received at the Full Gospel Church in Pleasantville on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at which time a funeral service will be conducted with Pastor Benjamin McCauley, officiating.

               Interment will be at Union Cemetery.
