Obituary of Laverne A. Bidwell

Mrs. Laverne A. “Daisy” Bidwell, 86, of Beulls Corners Rd., Centerville passed away at 3:27 PM on Friday, October 6, 2017.

            Mrs. Bidwell was born on September 30, 1931, in McKeesport. She was the daughter of the late Harry and Gertrude Anderson Bigleman. She married Donald Bidwell who preceded her in death in August of 1985.

            She was a member of the Centerville Baptist Church and the Centerville Vol. Fire Dept. Auxiliary.

            Daisy enjoyed playing bingo and was an avid Steelers fan. She loved being surrounded by her family.

            She is survived by a son, Buck Bidwell and wife Catherine of Centerville; a daughter, Deb Robinson of Centerville; 4 grandchildren, Jeremy Bidwell of Centerville, Kimberly Bidwell of Cochranton, Thomas Bidwell of Meadville, Tim Robinson and wife Chelby of Townville; 8 great grandchildren, Taylor, Alex, and Mason Bidwell, Trista, Andrew, Ryan, Ashley and Rayna Robinson.

            Daisy was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Edward Robinson and a brother, Harry Bigleman, Jr.

            Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home 303 N. Washington St., Titusville,  PA 16354 on Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be conducted from the funeral home on Wednesday at 11:00 AM with her nephew, Rev. Terry Bidwell pastor of the First Assembly of God in Titusville, officiating.

            Interment will be in Riceville Cemetery.
