Obituary of Edward Harvey

Mr. Edward “Eddie” Harvey, 58, of E. Bloss St., Titusville died unexpectedly on Saturday, November 18, 2017.

            Eddie was born on November 29, 1958, in Harborcreek to the late Donald Harvey and Betty Nelson.

            He was a graduate of Harborcreek High School.

            Eddie was retired as an oil distributor from PennDot and was last employed with Suit Kote in 2016.

            He was an avid outdoorsman and Steelers Fan. He loved animals, restoring/repairing cars, household projects, but his greatest passion was spending time with his family and friends.

            Eddie was a member of the Titusville B.P.O. Elks #264, and the Bruce Shorts Post #5958 VFW.

            He is survived by his wife, Sharon Schreckengost-Harvey, whom he married in June of 2003; 3 sons, Zach Harvey, Nash Harvey, Clint Schreckengost; 2 daughters, Jennifer Williams and husband Buddy, Mara Marin and husband Steve; a granddaughter, Brianna Downey; 3 brothers, Bruce, Dave and Ken Harvey; a sister, Marilyn Williams; his step-mother, Marie Harvey; longtime friends, Ronald Dinger, Steve Kantor, Gary Harger, Angelo “Pops” Scioscia, and his “little buddy” Max.

            Eddie was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Muriel Dinger and a nephew, Bubba.

            Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home 303 N. Washington St., Titusville, PA 16354 on Tuesday from 1:00 to 2:00 PM with a memorial service to follow conducted by Rev. Terry Bidwell, pastor of the First Assembly of God.
