Obituary of Keith L Gilson

Mr. Keith L. Gilson, 62, of Hydetown, passed away on Monday, November 27, 2017 at the Titusville Area Hospital.

               He was born in Titusville on September 1, 1955 to the late Howard and Beatrice “Bea” Proper Gilson.

               Keith graduated from Titusville High School, and attended Vo-Tech in the drafting program.

               He married Cindy Firster on December 27, 1975 in Rome Township.

               Keith was employed at Clear Lake Lumber in Spartansburg, Cherry Hill Lumber in Union City, and most recently at Erie Planning in Erie.

               He was a member of the Hydetown Baptist Church.

               Keith volunteered with the Hydetown Volunteer Fire Department and was instrumental in founding the Hydetown Fire Hall in his previous years.

               He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, putt-putt golf, spending time with his grandchildren, N Gage model trains, going to Corry to visit his friend Jack, and going to the Bowling Green, OH for the national truck pulls.

               Keith is survived by his loving wife of forty-one years, Cindy Gilson of Hydetown; a son, Larry Gilson and wife Julie of Titusville; three grandchildren, Anthony, Dakota, and Amber Gilson; a brother, Kenneth Gilson and wife Grace of Sunbury, OH; and a sister-in-law, Christal Wagner of Titusville.

               A memorial service will be held at Titusville Free Methodist Church, on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Noon.
