Obituary of S. John Snyder

Mr. S. John Snyder, 79, of Titusville, passed away on Monday, November 27, 2017 at his home.

               He was born in Titusville on June 4, 1938 to the late Frank and Waive See Snyder.

               John attended Titusville Schools.

               He married Erma Huffman on February 7, 1959 in Centerville.

               John worked at Trans Penn Wax Corp, and was self-employed on his farm.

               He was a member of Gilson Ridge Church of the Nazarenes.

               John enjoyed competing in tractor pulls, spending time with and helping his family, and farming.

               He is survived by his loving wife of fifty-eight years, Erma Snyder of Titusville; a son, John Snyder and wife Cindy of Titusville; three grandchildren, Beth Falco, Bryan Miller and wife Megan, and Amy Schwab and husband Derek all of Titusville; four great grandchildren, Lanee Falco, Avery Schwab, and Nae & Evia Miller; and two brothers, Paul Snyder and wife Shirley of Pleasantville, and Rulin Snyder and wife Pauline of Titusville.

               He was preceded in death by five sisters, Helen Smith, Margaret Foote, Josephine Bedow, Shirley Kabasinki, and Mary Hicks, and four brothers, Maryott, Merle, Edward, and Frank Snyder.

               Friends and family may attend a funeral service at Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home, 303 N. Washington St., Titusville, PA 16354, on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at 11 AM.

               Interment will be in Union Cemetery.
