Obituary of Diane L. Snyder

Diane L. Snyder, 58, of Titusville, passed away Sunday morning, December 3, 2017 at her home.

               She was born in Titusville on April 26, 1959 to Duane Whitehill and the late Dora Jean Deeter Whitehill.

               Diane graduated from Titusville High School, class of 1977.

               She was married to Timothy Snyder.

               Diane worked at Titusville Dental Arts for forty years.

               She is a member of the First United Methodist Church of Titusville.

               Diane was a member of the Titusville Summer Theatre board of directors; a member of the hand bell choir and video technician at the church.

                She was an avid scrap booker; enjoyed musical theatre; and loved being with all of her nieces and nephews.  She took much pride in her son Ben’s music education and performances.

               Diane is survived by her son, Ben Snyder, and husband Timothy Snyder, both of Titusville; her father and step-mother, Duane and Fran Whitehill of Titusville; a sister, Dawnette Whitehill of Ellicott City, MD; two brothers, Daniel Whitehill and wife Lisa of New Franklin, OH, and Dale Whitehill and wife Martha of Raynham, MA; a step sister, Kristi Henderson and husband Rick of Zelienople; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

               In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a step sister, Damaris Deeter Tartara and a step brother, John Deeter.

               Friends and family may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home, 303 N. Washington St., Titusville, PA 16354 on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM.  Additional visitation will be held on Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church, 302 W. Walnut St., Titusville, at which time the funeral service will be conducted with Rev. Larry A. Reitz, pastor, officiating.

               Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
