Obituary of Beverly O. Chamberlin

Beverly O. Chamberlin, 80, of Pleasantville, passed away Monday evening December 4th at the Titusville Area Hospital.

            Beverly was born on September 18, 1937 at Jamestown, NY, a daughter of the late Vere and Gladys Ostrander Baker.  She was married to Arwon B. Chamberlin on June 22, 1956 at Bear Lake.

            Beverly was a graduate of Youngsville High School, class of 1956.

            She was a member of the Pleasantville Free Methodist Church where she served as a Sunday school teacher for many years.  She was also a member of the Women’s Missionary Society of the church.

            Beverly and her husband Arwon were caretakers of the Pleasantville Free Methodist Campgrounds for a number of years.

            She is survived by her husband Arwon of Pleasantville; four children, Gayle Morton of Pleasantville, Rebecca Mayle and husband Daniel, Mark Chamberlin and wife Carol, and Valjeane Kinnear and husband Jeremy, all of Erie; 6 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; a brother, Marshall Baker of Bear Lake; and several nieces and nephews.

            In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Jason Morton; a half-brother, Vern Baker; and a half-sister, Bertha Bostaph.

            Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home 303 N. Washington St. Titusville, PA on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM and attend the funeral service on Saturday at 11:00 AM at the Pleasantville Free Methodist Church with Rev. Chuck Riel, pastor, officiating.
