Obituary of Shirley Irene Lareau

               Shirley I. Lareau, 87, previously of Titusville, passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at the Oil City Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

               She was born in Titusville on December 31, 1929 to the late Howard F. and Goldie Irene StClair Davidson.

               Shirley graduated from Colestock High School, class of 1947.

               She was previously employed at GTE Sylvania in Pleasantville and MFG in Union City.  She retired as a furnace operator in the heat treat department at Cytemp Specialty Steel Corporation.

               Shirley attended Bible Baptist Church.

               She was an avid bowler and belonged to several leagues in her earlier years.  She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, socializing, and going out to eat.  She enjoyed greeting and telling all visitors that she loved them at the Titusville Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

               Shirley is survived by four children, Craig Monroe and companion Dora Wells of Meadville, Sue Errera and husband Donald of Seneca, Cheryl Woc and husband Edward of Meadville, and Mark Aul and wife Brenda of Pleasantville; eight grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and three sisters, Marian Mulchin of Meadville, Donna Brown of Titusville; and Terry Vallario of Newburn, NC.

               She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Cindy; a grandson, James Howard Moore; and a brother Howard “Sonny” Davidson.

               Friends and family may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home, 303 N. Washington St., Titusville, PA 16354 on Friday, December 8, 2017 from 10 to 11 AM, and the funeral service to follow with Rev. Doug Cole of Bible Baptist Church officiating.

               Interment will be in Jerusalem Corners Cemetery.
