Obituary of MaryAnn J. Witowski

               Mrs. MaryAnn J. (Gaul) Witowski, 87, formerly of Pleasantville and Center Township, PA, passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2017 at 7:20 AM at Elmwood Gardens Senior Care Facility in Erie where she had been a resident for several months.

               MaryAnn was born on January 24, 1930 in Ambridge, PA to the late John and Christine Peltz Gaul. She married Alexander “Al” Witowski on October 18, 1952 in Ambridge. He preceded her in death on October 19, 2003.

               She was a graduate of Ambridge High School, class of 1947 and worked as a Bell Operator until her marriage.

               MaryAnn was an avid reader, crossword puzzle enthusiast, and animal lover. She was also skilled at crocheting and would make blankets for the local nursing homes and hospitals.

               She was a former member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church.

               MaryAnn is survived by her two sons, Alexander J. Witowski of Enon Valley and Victor J. Witowski and wife Lisa of Fairview; three grandchildren, Alex, Elizabeth, and Lauren.

               No calling hours will be observed. A private graveside service will be held at a late date.

               Inurnment will be at Fairview Cemetery in Pleasantville.
